Support

Have a question, a feature request, or want to report a bug? Email me at [email protected] and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can — usually within a day or two.

Starting in version 2.1, you can also submit a bug report directly from within the app. Go to Settings → Report a Bug and it’ll come straight to me with helpful diagnostic info already attached.

Common Questions

How do I start tracking a ride? Tap the big Start button on the home screen. You can also kick things off from the Control Center or your Lock Screen widget — no unlock needed.

Does Wheels track me in the background? Yes, once a ride is started Wheels follows your GPS route, speed, and distance in the background so you can pocket your phone and skate. It stops the moment you end the session.

How do I add a board? Open the Boards tab and tap the + button. You can track as many boards as you own and assign each ride to a specific deck to see the mileage pile up.

What’s board maintenance tracking? Every time you log a maintenance event — new bearings, fresh wheels, a deck swap — Wheels records it against that board’s mileage. Over time you’ll always know what’s been done and when it’s time for a refresh.

Why does the app need location access? Location is only used while you’re actively recording a ride. Wheels never accesses your location in the background outside a session, and your route data never leaves your device. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.

How do I delete a ride? Open the ride from the Log tab, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete Ride.

Is an Apple Watch app coming? Yes — it’s in active development. Stay tuned.
